This SOLIDWORKS Nashville tutorial uses a single DXF file I created in vector software to create a full 3D design of a carousel themed rocking horse. The DXF I created is a 2D side view of the rocking horse, it includes all the profiles needed within one file to extrude, revolve, cut extrude or mirror features.

For this tutorial, download the DXF file for the egg pattern here and see how you can wrap a simple eggshell with a geometric pattern. I created the DXF file in vector software, but you could easily create your own design in SOLIDWORKS Nashville.

The jpeg used in the tutorial for the color picking is available to download here, or feel free to use your own colorful jpeg to select colors from for each key.
